You may be able to help with my current problem. I upgraded to IE7 recently on my desktop and laptop but I can't sign in to ebay on my desktop at all. The page just resets and the same happens with other log in pages. I have tried reducing security settings to minimum, turning off my anti virus software and deleting all cookies and temp files and restarting but still I can't get in. Im wondering if the security settings on my wirless adapter are overiding windows settings somehow even though I have windows controlling the wireless network. Its driving me up the wall. Any help would be much appreciated.

    regards phil

Have you tried putting eBay, etc in the Trusted Zone?

I have no problems signing into eBay using IE 7, but do not use wireless or a router - are you referring to a router here?

Security starts there and Windows plays second fiddle, so I would take a look at the security settings there.

I am using a TP-link Wireless adapter which recieves a signal from a netgear broadband router. I doubt its a problem with the router as the laptop works fine from it, but the wireless adapter has its own settings which may be causing the problem. I can't see where the conflict lies though and what to change without buggering my internet connection. Im still sure its a cookie or active X issue but Ive tried everything and it still resets from ebay. Its strange because I can access my egg money account on that computer and that should use all the correct security settings. Do you think I should uninstall IE7 and start again.
