I have been trying to burn DVD's to make a full image of my C hard drive. I am using Acronis True Image program. There are problems.
One source told me to go to Msconfig>Start and uncheck tfswctrl. I am afraid to do that, so I didn't. I have no idea what tfswctrl.exe is.

Does any one know what tfswctrl.exe is? What does it do?

Should I uncheck it so that it does not open on startup?

Thank you for any education about this. I am trying to claw my way up the learning curve.

    Lee,

You will find information about 'tfswctrl.exe' HERE .
You should be able to 'uncheck it', then try burning your DVD. If unchecking causes a problem, just put the check mark back. :D
