Hi guys, I was wondering if you can help me out on my firewall issues :

From the last few days I have noticed in the MCafee firewall inbound events I seen some IP's blocked but are these IP's hackers trying to get into my computer or just something else?

Also is it more secure to use Windows firewall + MCafee firewall?

Hope you guys can help, cheers

    McAfee Firewall Problem

I have been using McAfee for years without a problem. However the last week or two I have noticed that once I turn my system on. The firewall "Disables" it self and other programs can not run until after it does something and then "Enables" it self. I have done virus checks and found several and removed those. I have done several different spyware programs and found tons of things and removed them. The problem still prosists though.

Does anyone have any ideas on this one?

    Thanks,

    Jim

Bon L - Welcome to the Board :)
No - you should only run one firewall to avoid conflicts and mainstream firewalls like McAfee communicate with Windows Security Centre and turn off the Windows Firewall.

The IP's you see blocked are those that your firewall considers undesirable and hazardous to your security and - yes - they are the bad guys trying to gain access.
