Has anybody ever had any luck doing this? I tried it once and got a bunch of errors when I started Outlook Express. I followed some guy's instructions off his webpage but it didn't work for me. I believe the address book and emails are stored somewhere in the "Documents and settings" folder.

When my parent's computer got infected with a virus abou four years ago I backed up these files onto a CD then after I reinstalled Windows I tried to put them back where they came from. But got some errors. It's been so long I can't remember what these errors were. But apparantly there were more files that needed to be transfered that didn't.

This was while using Windows ME.

OK my parent's computer is now 6 years old, has gotten really slow here lately and I think it's about ready to bite the dust so I decided to buy them a new one for Christmas.

I know how to transfer files from one PC to another but have no idea how to transfer Outlook Express files. I've always used Eudora.

    Can someone help me?
