I just recently updated to the newest version of IE, but I've gotten so used to using the previous that it makes me a lot less receptive to the switch. Anyway, I'm just trying to figure out how I may be able to manipulate the positions of my toolbars.

It looks like I still have the option to lock or unlock the toolbars, but they don't seem to want to move. The setup I currently have places the internet address bar at the top of the window, but I don't want it there. How, if I can, can I rearrange the toolbars?

ggreg--Well IE7 is different. Here are several references to what tweaks are available and what problems you may encounter.

I think there also are several posts on this subject on WindowsBBS, but I am just about to shut off for the evening, so maybe you will want to do a Search yourself.

oh thanks, I'm shutting down as well for the night so I will research this further. I'll check out the links you provided here as well. You know sometimes I just wish that folks could leave well enough alone. I was so just happy with IE6, didn't see a need for another update.

But I do understand how all that plays out in the real world. Some of the sites I visit don't act the same since they made the update on them. Thanks again, though.

ggreg--If it gets to the point that you cannot live with IE7, you can uninstall it from Control Panel|Add/Remove. It is under "Windows ". You will roll back to IE6.
    But give IE7 a chance.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking, I'm simply gonna give it a chance first. I don't think that it's all that critical, I suppose. I can just over-react from time to time.
