    It seems since a few MS updates ago to my IE I'm have problems with my OE and it opening and receiving mail.

    The message I keep getting is Folder could not be displayed;

    Outlook Express could not open this folder.
    -----------------------------------------------
    Possible causes are:
    Low disk space.
    Low memory.

    I've reloaded IE Service pak 2, deleted my Inbox DBX file, removed mail, etc all to now avail as the problem is still there. I also get a pop up saying;
    An unknown error has occurred. Account: 'pop-server', Server: 'pop-server.stny.rr.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800C0131

    Now the interesting thing is I can go into Outlook and receive my mail and access the server with no problem, it's only in Outlook Express I'm having this problem. So that tells me the memory / Disk error may not be the problem.

    Any ideas what I should try next.:confused:

    Outlook error problems

    Thanks Pete. tried them all and still getting the same errors. If I leave OE on, when running OK after a reboot, I 'll come back to a MIME error and then the same issues with the same messages as in my original note. Open Outlook and it works fine. Almost acts like Outlook Express has a mind of it's own:eek:

    Thanks Jim. I'm still running, don't laugh, ME so those XP fixes would not apply. I know a lot of my PC problems are directly related to running ME, but can't see upgrading till February when Vista becomes available. Then I'm going to get a whole new system, as mine current Dell 8100 is running RDRAM and you know it's problems. Thanks
