I am using Windows Xp Sp2 and Outlook Express 6. When I open the find dialog and find a group of messages and then double click one of those messages to view it, after a second or two the entire message is highlighted or selected. I also discovered that not only is the message selected but it is also copied to the clipboard. I had wanted to send a message to a number of people who met certain criteria and had copied the message I had sent to one person and then intended to reply to other message and paste that same message into the reply. To my surprise, every time I pasted, I pasted the very message content I was viewing rather than the previously copied piece of text. It's almost a thought there is some sort of macro that runs each time I open one of the found messages that selects all and then copies it to the clipboard. I want to turn this off somehow but have no idea what is actually happening.

In addition to this I frequently get a little dialog box popping up after the "select" when all the message contents are highlighted in blue that says: GPG Plug In Error [title, folowed by] No Mail Message [then below that a button with OK in it]. I can't move on until I click the OK button.

If anyone knows what is happening here or has a solution I would appreciate it as I frequently search messages and this is very annoying and time consuming to deal with!

aedge3--Re GPG PlugIn Error, there could be several reasons depending on what programs you are using.
    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...m=0&ct=result&cd=1&q=GPG+PlugIn+Error&spell=1
Note first reference (Apple PlugIn) says this PlugIn should not be run on Operating Systems other than Mac.
Concerning the Copying and Pasting message content, I do not observe the behavior you report. If I have something already on the Clipboard, it is what gets Pasted. I have to click Edit|Copy from the Find Message window to copy the text of the selected (found and highlighted) message before the text in that message gets copied to the Clipboard (displacing the old contents on the Clipboard). Double clicking on a message in Find Message just opens it and does not copy the text.
As a work around perhaps open the message of interest and highlight/copy the portions you want to paste.
    Or perhaps I misunderstand.
