Desktop Icon Color

    Hey,

    Im trying to change the font color of my desktop shortcuts away from the default of white.

    Ive gone into

    properties > appearance > advanced > icon

    but it wont let me change the color, surely this can be done, what am i doing wrong ?

    the problem is under 'icon' the color tab isnt active so i cant change it at all.

    they kinda do but i cant believe that u cant change it without one of those programs.
