Running Win XP SP2 on a Toshiba Satellite Laptop. I'm using IE Browser version 6.0.2900.2180. Yahoo Mail is the primary email. Lately Yahoo email has been blocking some images. When someone sends an online photo album to view, the images will not display at all. There's usually an empty square and a red x. Even if I right clik and select "show image" it displays nothing.

I have checked the Yahoo mail settings and it is set to display images.

P.S. I'm using Verizon Wireless Broadband as my Internet Service. I don't see anything in the VZ Access Manager regarding the display of images.

    AceH--
I do not use Yahoo Mail, and the blocking of only "some" images can be hard to fix.
Right click on one of the blocked images|Properties. What is in the "Address:URL" line?
Is it the address of an advertising company? Perhaps Yahoo or maybe your HOSTS file (if you have one) is selectively blocking content from certain sites. If advertising, you probably are not missing much (and the page will load faster!! :) ).
But if this is an image you want to see, consider some of the fixes here (which are for IE and OE and may not apply to Yahoo Mail).

(Sorry there are so many. :) )
Does Yahoo have any tech support or a user's forum?
