Can't uninstall Corel Photo Album 6 (Error 1720)

Corel Photo Album 6 came already installed on my computer. I don't want it, but I can't uninstall it. When I use 'add/remove' in the Control Panel I get the message 'ERROR 1720: There is a problem with this windows installer package. A script required for this install to complete could not be run.' No cd for Corel came with the computer. In order to contact Corel Support they require me to open an account, etc., but I really don't want to go down that road unless I have to. Any suggestions, please? Thank you.

 

Good news! I downloaded and installed the latest Windows Installer Package from Microsoft and then did the 'add/remove' thing from Control Panel. Corel Photo Album is now uninstalled.
