    Hello,

I repaired windows and now my DVD Drive is not showing up on the list of drives on the computer.
The DVD Drive is connected as normal to the computer but i dont know why it does not show up on the Drive list.

Is there any software or something thats been removed?

Looks like your drive has not been detected properly.

One way to go about it is to go to Device Manager, remove the DVD/CD ROM & reboot. On reboot Windows should find it & install correct drivers.

If that doesn't work, switch off the computer & open the case. Remove both power & data cables from your DVD ROM and switch on your computer. Now go into Device Manager & click Action->Scan for New hardware. Switch off the computer again and plug in the DVD/CD cables. Switch on your computer. Windows should now load the correct drivers.
