Hi, I have a problem with employees using the company computers for internet browsing when I'm away. It would be simple enough to password protect but I need the computers on. My question is (I'm using Win 98) there a to disable the internet browsers yet keep the computers on?

    Appreciate any ideas

You could have a series of host files:
    http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm
    Theirs blocks parasite websites.
The way I see it, if you had one that read:
    127.0.0.1 *.com
    127.0.0.1 *.net
    127.0.0.1 *.org
It should virtually go nowhere on the internet.

Copy and paste whichever one you wish to use into the Windows folder.
