Recording from Internet Radio

    Is there a way to recording music from internet radio? I'm listenting to some great lounge music and would love to record it but have no idea.

    Please let me know if there is a way.

    I use Audacity and select Stereo Mix as the source. You have to be there when the program or whatever starts to press record. But I belive there are some more specialised software that will do timer recording like on a video.

    A very simple way.
    Take the output from sound board (probably now hooked up to computer speakers) and run it to aux input on a stereo system that can record either on tape or a cd. Even a "˜boom’ box will work.

    Never could figure out why people spend oodles on computer speakers. I run output to a "˜bookshelf’ system (Aiwa all in 1 system) with 4 speakers n surround sound. Internet radio sounds awesome.

    Only catch is many speakers may not be magnetically shielded so have to locate them at least 4 ft from computer (actually 2 ft works). Beware though - room vibrates if sound turned up.
