    Hello,

God, I hope someone can help me with this problem.
I use OE6 and a couple months ago I stopped receiving my daily emails from my news website. I contacted them and they said to contact my ISP. I contacted my ISP and they took me through all the routines and because their emails to me got through they didn't know what the problem was. So I started to have my email news sent to Hotmail. No problem there.

A week ago I stopped receiving my daily email comics. I once again contacted my ISP, which is Clearwire, and they took me through the routine once again, but to no avail.

Now I'm not receiving yet another daily newsletter. They are dropping out of my inbox like dead flies. Can someone please help me?

When the first emails stopped coming I had installed Webroot Spy Sweeper and downloaded IE7 beta. I ended up reformatting my hard drive to get rid of IE7 but that made no difference. I have since downloaded the new IE7 and now my emails are disappearing once again.

Is anyone else having this problem? This is irritating me to no end and I can't seem to get the problem resolved.

    Thanks.

routerqueen--Is the problem limited to emails from that one sender? Can you send email?
    You could try this
    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...ff-7bfe-4336-9e65-972ed21324c4&DisplayLang=en
But I thought it was not a fix for just "some" websites.
P.S. To uninstall IE7 you do not have to format. It can be uninstalled from Control Panel|Add/Remove. Look under "Windows ". You will roll back to IE6 automatically.

    Thanks for the response Welshjim.
From my news station I'm not receiving emails from their news website domain but I do receive emails from their support people from an entirely different domain.

When I uninstalled IE7 it was the beta version and unfortunately, uninstalling back then was not that easy. However, I reformatted basically because I installed a new hard drive and moved my programs over to that one.

I am baffled about all of this. For years I received these daily emails and for one reason or another they just stopped and I have not been able to get to the bottom of it. I've now lost yet 2 more website newsletters. But hey, I'm still getting spam.

I've thought about uninstalling and reinstalling OE6. Maybe I've dropped a file or become corrupted? Anymore suggestions? My computer is totally up to date. I've made sure of that.

routerqueen--Problems that occur only sometimes and some sites are the most difficult to fix. Your firewall could be blocking that site. Or your ISP may have put that domain on their blacklist.
I somehow doubt a repair of OE is going to help, since I suspect the problem is with the site. (And you really cannot uninstall OE without installing Windows.)
But here are some repair ideas

I am not sure what this means. If the intention was to state that you cannot uninstall Outlook Express in Windows it is not true.

To completely remove Outlook Express from your system:

    Get the complete details at:

    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;263837

The instructions include a method to reinstall Outlook Express in case you change your mind or want to attempt a repair reinstallation.

I truly think it's my ISP. None of my newsletters even get to my email on their own server. Every once in awhile one will slip through. So I know it's them. But they, they're junior tech support, insist it's not them. I have Clearwire by the way. I will be moving soon and they will be history. Any ideas on how to get to the software people at my ISP would be greatly appreciated.

Bill Castner--Good find. Wonder why Tom Koch did not recommend that.

You can ask Tom if you like. I certainly find doing a reinstall of OE a very rare thing to have to do which may be the reason:

I thought it a mistake that he was not renewed as an MVP this October. He is quite a character if you ever meet him.
