Word 2002 drop-down menus

Hey there MS Word 2002 experts;

My wife is a manager at a local store and writes her business schedules for about 20 employees utilizing 7 days a week using MS Word 2002.
I would like to set it up so that when she clicks on a peticular employee to work on a peticular day for a series of times to display for that day.

If one of you fine experts can figure this one out.. I would really appreciate it. Ya would be saving her from increased 'grey-hair' syndrome.

Use Access.
Or learn Visual Basic. I know of no way to easily do this in Word.

 

Try looking in the help section of Word and doing an index search for drop-down.

Not positive but since all the info is there for making drop down menes in my XP version, I suspect it will also be for 2000.

Since it has been a feature with Access and Excel for a few versions now, I would be amazed if it weren't in Word.

 

Looks like Newt is correct. A quick check of the help section indicates that Word 2000 does have drop down list capabilities. So Word 2002 should too.

You learn something new every day.....

But I betcha its much easier to do in Access

I want to thank everyone that's responded to this thread. Word 2002 does have drop down menu's, it is a bit 'cranky' to make but given enough time i'm able to do it.
