Microsoft Auto-Update offered IE 7 today. Just wondering how many others received the offer. I am recovering from a GoBack partition issue, which resolved with no lost data. But I removed GoBack, partition my system drive and re-installing Acronis as my primary backup. Still shuffling folders around and until I have all my ducks in line with Acronis, will hold off on installing IE7. I do want IE7 installed, feel / hope it is a more secure browser than IE6.

Microsoft have started offering it since 11/1, but it will 'spread' it out over 2-3 months. So some may have been offered, other wouldn't have.

It is available via MBSA v2 also - as an important security roll-up.
