Hi, I'm just starting up a network for my home, and wondering how to go about it.

There are 6 of us in the house, and we all are pretty knowlageable about computers.

I was thinking of setting up a high end windows 2003 terminal server, so we can all log in with cheap laptops wirelessly, so we can play games cheaply. Is this the best option, or do we all buy networked high end gaming laptops?

    Thanks in advance!

I dont think you will see the video resolution through TS that you would expect for gaming.

I absolutely agree. As good as it is, Terminal Server isn't the right solution for gaming.

If you are on a tight budget, get a desktop PC rather than a laptop and invest in plenty of RAM and the best video card you can afford.

Does it have to be laptops ?
Are the computers used only for gaming ?
