I am still having this problem and my system is running unstable. It doesn't seem to be overheating, but when running certian programs, such as video games and internet explorer I am experiencing crashes.

    SKDaemon: No driver open

A driver is missing for your multi-function keyboard. SKDaemon supports programming the "extra" accessory keys on some multi-function keyboards. It is not a virus nor malware.

Download AutoRuns by Microsoft/Sysinternals, find the entry in your startup program listing, and checkmark it to have it stopped from autostarting: http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/Autoruns.html

You may have malware. Go to the WindowsBBS sub-Forum that specializes in Spyware and malware issues.

Thank you. I got rid of the SKDaemon problem, but I am still experiencing crashes. I've had a problem with malware before. I have Avas antivirus, hijack this, ewido and other programs on my pc. Should I make a new thread even though I'm not this is my problem?

My system is running unstable, some programs will just crash by themselves and then sometimes windows will crash to the blue error screen with Bad_Pool_Header. Not knowing if this is related by I had an error message when I would start up saying: SKDaemon: No driver open. I know that this is related to multi-functional keyboreds and is non a windows core file, so I disabled this .exe at start up...

    Hello PcJacked,

I merged the posts from your 2nd thread into your original thread.

Please keep the responses here, otherwise its gets confusing and "history" is lost.

You don't think the problem can be solved using the Dump Data?

    Charles-

I ran the memory test and this is what I found.

Windows Memory Diagnostic found 324148 errors.
The error distribution by memory module is:

    Bank 'bank0': Slot 'DIMM0': 324148
    Bank 'bank1': Slot 'DIMM1': 0
    Bank 'bank2': Slot 'DIMM2': 0
    Bank 'bank3': Slot 'DIMM3': 0

One other thing that I forgot to mention; I had a fan on the sidewall and the connection to the power supply was a splitter so you could hook the fan up and something else. I noticed the lights on the fan to be blinking and the fan to be fading out as well, So i completed detached the fan connection to the powersupply(which is the splitter) and it seemed to be running more smoothly. I still encountered crashes though.

I'm not too sure about that info from the memory diagnostic, but it looks like one of my memory sticks is bad?

    Thanks again

    -Jake
