WMI has encountered a problem

i am using WINXP Pro, but when the windows boot properly, the following windows prompt continuously after every 1 min, what is it ? is this mean i am missing some windows files during installation or the win is not installed properly ? your help will be appreciated.

"WMI has encountered a problem & needs to close. we are sorry for inconvenience. "

Remember the above message prompt with the conventional microsoft report window , with buttons of "Send Error Report" "Don't Send ".

Copy the below with your mouse:

Open notepad and paste the contents. Do a File, Save as, and save the file as fix_wmi.cmd

Double click fix_wmi.cmd to execute the instructions.
Reboot and test.
