I just installed Windows Xp Pro on my second computer. I starts up perfect until I get to the logon screen. The only user set up is Administrator and it's asking for a password. I have never used a logon name named Administrator. I tried all my old passwords and some default passwords, but none of them will work. Is there any way to get around the logon screen. I'd like to get in just so I can set up another adminstrative account.

    Thanks,

    Fiveball

Have you just selected "cancel" at the logon screen?

When you installed XP, it prompted you to set up a password for the administrator account. You should use that password.

If you don't remember, a reinstall is probably going to be the best way....
