Windows XP Logon

I just installed Windows Xp Pro on my second computer. I starts up perfect until I get to the logon screen. The only user set up is Administrator and it's asking for a password. I have never used a logon name named Administrator. I tried all my old passwords and some default passwords, but none of them will work. Is there any way to get around the logon screen. I'd like to get in just so I can set up another adminstrative account.

Have you just selected "cancel" at the logon screen?

 

When I click on cancel it says something like "Password Not Valid "

on my xp i get that message when i click on ok! Administrator is what i get if i don't use a password at all. Try safemode too

Can you logon as guest? There are many tips on this website here http://www.windows-help.net/WindowsXP/howto-08.html

 

I'm going to try those suggestions tonight....I'll let you all know if it works.
