    Hello All,

I have installed windows 2003 server, installed and configured Active Directory. But problem is windows client systems are taking 3-4 minutes to login in to the server. But i have two other servers windows NT, and windows 2000 Domain servers, but there is no such kind of problems.

If i give the domain IP (of windows 2003 server) as the primary dns server in client systems then client systems log in to the domain quickly.

    Can anyone guide me

    Thanks and Regards,

    Kishore

You answered your own question. If the clients aren't pointed to the DC for their DNS info they cant find it. Thus the reason the login takes so long.

In a Domain enviroment the clients have to be pointed to the DC for DNS.

Sounds like a DNS issue on the client PCs. Make sure the clients are pointing to the correct DNS server.
