    Thanks Everyone

Just wanted to post back and let all that helped me out know the outcome.

I was unable to copy the I386 folder to my C: drive from the slipstream disk, I even tried it at work and no go. It would get into transfering files for a few minutes and then say it could not read the drive. So running SFC was not the best of scans. I got read errors from the CD rom ( my Plextor CD Burner ) when checking in Event Manager. So I did the whole procedure over again and created a new Slipstream disk on my new Samsung DVD Burner ( using a CD-R disk ) it worked!!! was able to transfer I386 to my C: drive, changed the sourcepath to C: and was able to run SFC with out a hitch. Prior to that I ran this fix and was then able to access adding new windows componants that was giving me an error that netoc.inf was missing.
When I ran SFC and checked Event Manager (system) it showed no files being copied and no errors, so I assume all is ok. My system is running fine, my startups and shut downs appear a little quicker, I can access all my tabs and everything seems to working just fine.

    I want to thank
    Pete.
