    Hello!

When I boot up my computer I get the blue screen that says there is a device driver attempting to corrupt the system.

    The error is
    0x000000C4 (0x0000003c, 0x00000678, 0x84EAE900, 0x00000000)

I tried to system restore the computer in safe mode but that didn't work. I also ran the verifier.exe file and it didn't work. I receive the error everytime I boot up in regular mode. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks,

    Joe

Filter conflict, such as Norton AV:

    Driver Rollback for Video Adapter
Control Panel - System - Hardware - Device Manager and look for the Display Adapter, double click and on the Drivers page see if roll back drivers takes you to an earlier one that works.

    Removable Media Error
    Unlikely, but check: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/897574/en-us

I tried each of the options below and they didn't fix the issue. I tried to rollback the video driver, but it couldn't find any other drivers. I have tried loading a different driver from the internet, but still no luck.

I am going to try to use the restore CD (I had misplaced mine, but found one on the internet) to fix the problem. Thanks for you help, I will let you know if this fixes the error.

Please, contact the computer manufacturer for a restore CD.
Do not use something from the internet unless it is from the manufacturer's website.
