I know there is a simple way to enable my e-mail program to allow photos in the ad's that I'm e-mailed, but I can't seem to figure it out. Can someone lead me through it?
    Thanks,
    Jodie

    Hi,
I did not see if you said what you have for sending your emails such as Outlook Express or what, but I believe if you go into Outlook Express and at the top click on tools, then options, then click the send tab and in there you should see a box that you can put a check mark in that says something to the effect "send pictures with emails "...Click apply and then ok...

What I found out was that for some reason I lost my internet connection with my OE so images were showing up as x's. I talked to the roadrunner people and after a battery of tests to see if the server was operating (she had me check my email via webmail) and I was able to send and recieve new messages so they knew the problem was on my end. I uninstaled OE and reinstalled it and still no change. So we resorted to the final straw which was turning off the computer and unplugging the cable modem for 5 seconds and then rebooting. It worked. My connection was re-established and my red x's were replaced with pictures.
Thanks for your help. This site is so valuable to people like me!

ohioMom--Glad to hear the good news, but That is weird.
It sometimes can be a problem to find the exact cause but it usually is to make sure the box in OE|Tools|Options|Read tab|has the box "Read all messages in Plain Text" unchecked.
    Or http://support.microsoft.com/kb/843018
