My ISP recently made some changes and now when I send my first email of the day it asks for a password. It has become very irritating and I've contacted my ISP. They sent back instructions for Outlook Express and I then wrote back telling them that I needed instructions for Netscape Messenger 7.2. Its been two days with no answer so I was hoping someone here knew how I can change it so that a password is not needed to SEND my first message.

    Thanks.

With Netscape Mail & Newsgroups open:

    Open Tools | Password Manager
    Delete your ISP Password
    Close Netscape and then reopen

When you send an email you will be asked for a Password, but if you enable, or insert a tick beside "Remember password ",etc., you shouldn't be asked again.

    See this Screen Shot

This should work, and if not, then go back to your ISP.

    Ramona,

Thanks. I will give that a try.

If not, I will contact the ISP again. They are usually more responsive than this.
