Uninstall Problem [iPod for Windows and iTunes]

Hi,

I recently successfully removed some Canon Picture programming software using the Install Shield Wizard via the Add/Remove tool from the Control Panel. However I've got 2 other bits of programming software that I cannot remove (iPod for Windows and iTunes). When clicking on "Change/Remove" all I get is a small window saying the Wizard is being prepared to guide me through the process and then nothing - The Install Shield Wizard does not appear. It appears Wizard is working but not for all "removals ". Is there another way to delete these programmes? (I have probably "gone into" these two programmes in the past and altered some features by mistake - can't remember).

DoPe: It's usually preferable to delete a program by using the uninstall file (named uninstall.exe or some such thing) in the program's folder than using the Control Panel's Add/Remove feature. Is that file available for either of the programs you want to delete?

Uninstall problem

Thanks for the tips fellas - unfortunatley I don't have the programs to reinstall or repair (then uninstall) - also I can't find anything in the program files to do with un/install or exe. I have a sneeking suspicion I may have deleted some items in the program files when I (clumsily?) tried to Remove those programs more than 6 months ago (yeah I know ... what a dummy).

I guess this means they are there to stay until I next get my hard disc wiped and cleaned up.
