CD player vs. Media Player

    How do I stop Windows Media Player from automatically starting when I put a CD in my computer? It happens even if I open the CD Player that comes with Windows.

    Open Media Player and click on Tools then select Options.

    Click on the Formats tab and uncheck CD Audio Track.

    Thanks for your response but I tried that and Media Player still automatically pops up.
