outlook express as encountered and error and must close

I can't figure out what's going on right now, I haven't had this problem till today, when I go to outlook express to get my email the mail comes in and then I get the notification of an error and must close down. "Send Report" which I've done. I was looking for info about the error and I can only come up with the following, don't know if it will help
AppName msimn.exe AppVer6.02900.2180 Mod Name: ntdll.dll ModVer5.12600.2180 Offset 00001010. I haven't added anything new to my computer, haven't downloaded anything. I don't know what seems to be the problem. If I'm offline I can use oe to read and write emails but if I'm online then I get the encountered and error message and must close. Any ideas why this could be happening? Thanks for any info

Thanks for the info you posted, but you won't believe why outlook express wasn't working, the other person who uses my computer who shall remain nameless(hubby LOL) decided to check the box on the area where it shows the mailing coming you for each account,the box that say's Hang Up When Finished, not sure why he decided to put a check in that box but he did, when I removed the check outlook express has been working all day without a problem. So fingers crossed this will continue, other wise I'll have to use your suggestions, I've printed out the info. thanks for your help
