I have Norton Antivirus 2006 installed on my Windows XP computer. On any of my internet screens in the upper right corner I get sort of an icon stating "Norton Antivirus" and a scroll-down arrow. I want to get rid of this thing. How do I go about doing that? Thank you very much.

Right click on the toolbar, uncheck Norton A/V.

To jw25: Thank you for your message. But please tell me, after I right-click on the toolbar, where I would find Norton A/V to uncheck? Thank you.

If you don't find on the right-click menu on the toolbar, try this.
Click View, point at Toolbars, you should see Nrton in the sub-menu.

    Hello abx,

I answered your earlier thread where I ask you what version of Norton you're running.

This and the message from that earlier thread are options in Norton itself.

    Regards - Charles
