We have two DCs running in Win 2003 standard edition, configured one DC as a print server. Is there any way we can do high availability or online backup for printing. Thanks in advance.

Depends on your budget. My first suggestion would be to be two get two Windows 2003 Server Enterprise Edition file/print servers and a small entry-level DAS or SAN (depending on your needs). Set them up with MS Clustering and your file/print infrastructure will theoretically never be down for more than a few seconds to transfer cluster resources during a node outage.
