I searched the forum and never found this same problem. I have a 3.2 Ghz Xeon processor with Win XP Pro SP2. Problem: computer will re-boot at random and when checking sys log in event viewer, it will have a long error signature and say the bugcheck was 0x1000000a with many other numbers and "a dump was saved ". When I go to the dump, it is really vague and doesn't really help me figure out the problem. I have many of these machines. (all identical-both hardware and software) in fact all have the same image and it still happens to the same person only. I have changed out this person's Hard drive, then enitre machine and it still is happening to the same person. Any ideas?

The file suggests memory corruption, but you said that you had changed the computer and the problem remained.

Nevertheless I would run a memory tester such as Windows Memory Diagnostic or Memtest

The other problem would appear to be with maple.exe, the executable for Maple or the Maple Screensaver or Maplesoft. Does your user have this loaded?

An outside chance that it could be the ogid worm

    computer rebooting from bugcheck

Thank you for the quick response. I originally thought it could be Maple as it is loaded on this machine (though it has only been open on 3 occaisions during shut down). The user has had 8-10 shut downs. Funny thing is, Maple is installed on 75 identical machines (though not all users use it), no other users are having this problem and as I said earlier, I first changed out the hard drive, then I changed out the entire machine (now twice) but the problem persists. These are new machines (January '06) and since I have changed the machine twice, that is why I don't think it is the RAM. I guess stranger things have happened though. Thanks and I will check out the information on the ogid worm.
