Possible to move an installation without installing?

I've been installing programs to specific directories to keep better track of my files. I was going to install all of the The Sims 2 games into one directory, but I messed it up and now I have the original game in one directory, and the expansions in another.

Is it possible to "move" the installation of the original into the other directory and have everything, including registry entries, transferred to that new directory? Or do I have to uninstall each and every game, and then reinstall each and every one again?

 

Yeah, I'm not good enough to dig too deep into the registry. I recognize a lot of things, but when I have to sift through an untold amount of folders... no thanks. Besides, after having just reformatted from a mix up, I don't want to risk anything.
