I have Media Player 10 installed, with XP SP2, and it works fine when
playing DVD, CD, MP3 and any other sort of media file I throw at it. However,
when acessing streaming media via a browser, such as http://news.bbc.co.uk/media/avdb/news_web/video/9012da680050dd0/nb/09012da680051169_16x9_nb.asx
if i switch to real player the sound is fine but media player uses the version embeded in the browser, and not the standalone version, and I get no audio of any kind. If it is a video file the picture is fine, but no sound. If when possible, I download the media file from the remote server and use the standalone version of media player it works fine.

    All suggestions welcome.

    Thanks.
