Am using Mozilla 1.7.1.3 and when replying to an email I have it set to start my message above the quote and would like to have my sig below my message instead of below the quote. The box to change this [I believe] is grayed out,see attachment. How does one change it?

    quickshot,

You should be able to select from the drop-down menu. I always use the default setting (below quote), and that setting would obviously be grayed out. However, when I change to your setting (above quote) I am able to select below my reply (above the quote).

Have you tried changing the settings, and then going back to the original setting?

Yes I have tried all the settings, clicking OK in between and closing but no change. Is there anything in about.config?

    quickshot,

    Check these settings in about:config:

    mail.identity.default.reply_on_top default integer
    - your "value" should be "1 ", as "0" denotes the default setting

    mail.identity.default.sig_bottom Default boleen
    - your "value" should be "false" as "true" denotes the default setting

Let me know if these settings are correct... In the meantime, I'll check around to see if there are more settings to use in order to have your signature directly below your reply at the top.

My Bad, I just realized that I never had the attach sig box checked as I use the tagzilla extension for my sig's so there is probably no way for me to do it?? Sorry for not realizing what the problem was, just did not think of it until I received your reply.

    quickshot,

Sorry, but I'm not familiar with Tagzilla, but someone else might be able to help out...

However, you can use Notepad for your signature, save it on the HDD, and then point to that file in the Signature settings.
