Hi, I've installed the IE 7 Beta and found that the auto complete passwords does not work. I've checked the settings and they are checked.

I uninstalled IE 7 and the passwords worked OK in IE 6, then reinstalled IE 7 and it still not working.

Anybody know if this is a general fault with the beta or have I somehow got a corrupted registry. I hope somebody has some ideas how to fix this as I have a stack of passwords and it's a real pain. I don't want to have to go back to IE 6 as the tabs are really good.

    Thanks

I can't comment on autocomplete in IE 7 as I use Norton Password Manager for that purpose, but I would ask if you running IE 7 Beta or RC1?

One possibility is that you need to start afresh with the autocomplete list - not an option that you would favour I guess, although this would seem to be unlikely in the absence of any other posts on the subject.

You may find others with the same problems in the IE 7 Newsgroups or could post there.

    Hi PeteC,

Do you know if Symantec is going to support NPM in IE7 (as IE7-RC1 at this time does not autofill websites using NPM)?

kdschida - Welcome to the Board :)

I am running IE 7 RC1 + Norton Password Manager 2004 and it works fine for me. What problems do you encounter?

Roboform is also compatible with IE 7

    NPM and IE7-RC1

I've been testing IE7 since Beta1 and I thought when I tested RC1 it still didn't allow NPM to autofill the sites I have set with my U/N & P/W pair. I'll have to try it again.

Thanks for the quick reply. :)
