    I am using Outlook 2002 (10.4219.4219) SP-2

    I need to forward emails as attachments. If I use the regular "forward" menu option the forwarded email does not include all the header information. There is no menu option to "forward as an attachment," which I understand will include all the original header information. How can I forward emails as attachments in Outlook 2002?

    File->Save As->Save As Outlook Message
    Then attach it to the new mail.

    forwarding email as an attachment using Outlook

    Hello Steve,

    Thanks for your advice, but I still can’t get it to work.

    When I try to save an email message in Outlook (not Outlook Express), using the “save as” option, I select save as “outlook template” in “oft” format. The only other save as options are “Text Only txt” or “Message Format msg” but neither of those save all the original email headers which is what I want to do when I forward the email to my ISP to train the spam filter to allow desirable email messages to get through to me.

    When I save the message in “oft” format Outlook will not allow me to put that file anywhere other than the default folder which is “templates.” I can’t find that folder to retrieve it for inserting it in a new email message to forward to our service provider. I follow the directory structure backwards to locate where it is stored and get this path: “4 Freedoms Corporate, Application Data, Microsoft, templates”, but I can’t find that folder using Windows Explorer. There is no visible “Application Data” folder in the “4 Freedoms Corporate” folder.
