I have removable Disks (H), (I), (J), & (K) that show in My Computer. If I right click there is no Delete shown. If I chose Cut, nothing happens. Drag & Drop & Copy Here or Move Here it asks to insert Disk. If I plug in my Jump Drive it shows up on Removable Disk (M). This is no big deal, but I would like to get rid of them.

    Hi wahlroot

Do the drive letters go with card reader slots
on the front of the computer?

"picard ", I do believe you got it. There are 4 removable disks and 4 card slots. As I said this is no big deal. I have no cards, but I might some day, so I will leave as is. Thanks for the information. I find that if I come to BBS and ask before I might do something wrong, it keeps me out of trouble.

You cannot remove them the "My Computer" display.
But use Disk Management to move their drive letters up to W,X,Y, and Z.

Otherwise you end up with strange drive enumerations you will never remember just as you experienced with your USB pen drive.

Good Idea Bill I always move my DVD-ROM and CD-ROM to Y and Z
because I have some virtual drives created by Alcohol 120%.

Try to learn somthing new every day. Changed (H), (I), (J), and (K) to (W), (X), (Y), and (Z). Tried a card from a digital camera in a slot. It came up as (W), sure enough there were the photos. When I get a digital camera I will have a quick way to dowload photos to the computer. Who knew?
