this is gonna be simple for someone; but after hard drive crashes and multiple other problems I can't figure my way out of a wet paper bag!

ie6-- I backed up my favorites to a network drive. Using the import utility it seems to want to import each favorite one by one, and I have over one thousand in many folders. How do I bring them over in one blow?
    Thanks!

What import utility are you referring too.

Favorites are just shortcuts that you should be able to copy n paste to:
    C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name\Favorites

    Whoah, duh!

See, the solution's so simple! I was getting distracted with ie file/import and export when that is for favorites in another browser.

Moved the backed up folders directly to my favorites folder. All fixed.
thanks for helping the brain dead, but ever thought you might be working against natural selection?
