What version of the browser are you using & what OS & version?

What is the problem exactly? I look at that & it looks OK.

For the white BBS problem, in IE, click tools>internet options and on the general tab click the accessibility button. Make sure the line that says ignore colors specified on web pages isn't checked.

There's a similar setting in Firefox that will cause this in Firefox also. In Firefox, click tools>options>content and click colors button. Make sure the line that says "allow pages to choose there own colors, instead of my selections above" is checked.

It doesn't seem likely that both of them would have gotten messed up in this manner at the same time but it's worth a look to see.

    Hi Zander,

I looked at the settings you suggested they were all correct.

here is another image from godaddy.com
    http://thewildwestonline.com/screen3.JPG
i used the dropdown menu "domain" notice the background in the menu is transparent.

but seems some applications have graphic problems here is one of spybot search&distory
notice the file menu at top left is black.

and a last picture from ms movie maker
there seems to be some missing colors at the buttom left, and the button dont show up unless i click on one,and then it's not correct.

im thinking i messed up a window setting when i was hitting all the keys.

To rule out possible other issues create a new user. Logon as the new user and start your Browser.

Are the colors still messed up?

Logon again as the new user.

    Start, Run, regedit

    Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Settings

Right-click and Export this key to C:\
(remember the file name you give it)

    Logoff.

    Logon as you.

    Start, Run, regedit /s c:\name_of_export_file.reg

    Reboot. Test.

I may need you to do another registry key if this does not bring joy.

With regedit /s the lack of confirmation is normal.
