Keep getting errors,Hijackthis log attached,antivirus finds Trojans can't delete them

    We have been using the antivirus provided by AT&T . It is finding 4 instances of Trojans, but the software is not deleting them. I don't know where to start, I have a little experience with computers, but nothing major. I downloaded and ran a Hijackthis log and will list it below. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks-Chad

    Hi and welcome to WindowsBBS forums.

    There is no malware present on your system that I can discern from HJT log analysis. A couple of minor nitpicks, which were set by your ISP is all.

    I'm also be very suspect at all ISP provided protections. Usually they are not nearly as well suited to the job as stand alone 3rd party tools.

    If you could please tell us what exactly it was that the av scanner said you had, along with any file path locations, that info may help us see what you have, if anything.

    The software we were provided with is from computer associates. I checked the log file, and these are the 4 instances that keep showing up in my scans.

    All those are in your Java cache, which can be cleaned out along with other files by using Atribune's ATF Cleaner

    I suggest if you have not done so recently to empty all except for the recycle bin. Remember, by removing all cookies, you will have to re-enter all password\user account info for sites such as this.
