Windows Updates not installing

    Well i fixed the problem on my computer with the updates not working. (fixed the problem by reruning the Internet Connection Wizard.)

    But now i have to fix this computer which will not update. It finds the updates, downloads them, but then Fails to install them.

    I've tryed reinstalling Windows Installer 3.1 v2 and also did a SoftwareDistrubutionFlush with Dial-a-fix but nothing!

    It also refuses to antivir personal edition, it complains another version exsit when i can't even find any...

    I'm mostly worryed about the update situation, how can this be fixed?

    There is a windows update log file that you can read through to see what errors or fatal processes are occurring. The file is WindowsUpdate.txt, and you'll find it in your Windows folder. Search the document for the text FATAL and post what you find.

    Ok so the updates are fixed. (SensLogin for registery didn't even exsit)

    But now i cannot install the only free AntiVirus Software i like.

    AntiVir Personal Edition

    Heres the error message

    It claims theres an exsiting version, but i seraching around and found nothing.
