If you put your motherboard CD in a known working computer and use windows explorer to preview whats on the disc you should find a utility in the driver folder labeled SATA or something similar. Look around and you'll probably see a make disk entry. Put a blank formatted floppy in the same machine's floppy drive bay and run that create disk or make disk utility. It should write the SATA drivers to the once blank floppy. Then remove both your CD and the newly created driver floppy from that machine and go back to the machine you are trying to setup. Use your XP disc to start your installation. (disc must be in CD drive when machine is started) When asked to punch F6 if additional drivers are required, do so - hit F6. Now, continue to follow instructions. When asked again for manufacturers drivers, hit S when prompted. Continue to follow insructions. leave your XP CD in and do not take it out or stop the process. You will be rebooted during the install process and given 15 seconds to remove the floppy at that time - do so but continue to follow instructions.

    ;)
