Problem with outlook 2002, send and recieve problem.

Hi guys

Having a problem with outlook 2002.

We checked on the server everything seems fine, all details are entered correctly. The test account works fine.

But, when tryning toi send and rescive, it trys to send but gives a timed out error, we set to 2.30 min. After it gives that error it we try send and receive. Then gives same error, then seems to try again then sys 1 of 2 tasks done, then it trys agiain then error then 2 of 3 tasks done, And carrys on 'stacking'.

But somtimes it works. I close and reopen outlook then it seems to receive and send fine. But when i try a new email it does the whole story again. I try close and reopen. Gives same problem. So i try playing around opening an closing and loging and out. And while playing somtimes it sends and recieves.

Any sugestions?

Oh we running xp home, and tried sp3 for office.
