A friend of mine is running a computer with Windows 98 and also owns a digital camera. She would like to be able to quickly and easily resize her pictures for e-mailing, possibly in a manner similar to the Image Resizer tool from the Windows XP PowerToys. Is anyone aware of a similar tool for Windows 98? Thank you!

Picasa2, Google's free photo program is very good. It has an e-mail tab that opens your e-mail program to a new e-mail and automatically attaches the photo resized for e-mail. The edit features are somewhat limited but it is great for organizing photos, e-mailing photos, and making gift CDs of photos. I have used it for these purposes for the past year or so. I have another photo program that I use for editing.
