After once I disable LAN chip on my motherboard and re-enable it, I could only see the icon for ADSL but not for LANs in networks, I also tried to plug new network adapter throught USB, but my xp caught the device and there is still no icon appear in networks.
Did I touched anything I shouldn't touch to hide it? Or is there any replacement program so i can configurate my LAN?

    Hi Chikei, welcome to WindowsBBS.

We will need more information to be able to answer your question.

First, what is your Operation System? Is it XP Home?

Second, what do you mean precisely when you say that you cannot see icons "in networks ". Do you mean a location in Network Neighbourhood, Network Connections in Control Panel, or somewhere else.

Third if you go into Device Manager (Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager. On Win2k and Xp), is your network adapter listed under "Network Adapters" and is their either a red cross or a yellow exclamation mark on it?

Thank for reply and sorry for incomplete information.
My OS is XP Professional and I cannot see icons in Network Connections in Control Panel.
And the information showed from Device Manager indicating my network adapter is working normally.
I can use PPPoE through the network adapter, so for me it looks like everything is working except I cannot configurate my LANs by Network Connections in Control Panel.
