I did a quick search at McaFee site. Found this..

Summary: This document contains instructions on eliminating the "cannot find WebScan.exe" error. This error usually occurs upon attempting to launch any application.

    Error--Cannot Find Webscan.exe

To eliminate the Webscan.exe error upon trying to launch any application, Webscan must be manually removed. Please, follow these instructions:

    Rename the Windows Registry Editor

    Click the Start button.
    Click on Run.
Type in COMMAND in the Open field, then click the OK button. A black box will appear. The last line of the text in the black box will contain a blinking cursor.
Type the following commands into your keyboard:
    CD
    CD WINDOWS
    COPY REGEDIT.EXE REGEDIT.COM
    EXIT
The black box will then disappear.

IMPORTANT: Before beginning to manually remove this program from your computer make sure to backup the Registry. This will safeguard your Windows 95 or Windows 98 installation. You can recover your Windows 95 or Windows 98 configuration by restoring the backup in the case that some error occurs after editing the registry.

    How to Backup the Registry

Click on Start, then on Run.
Type REGEDIT.COM in the line titled Open and click the OK button.
Click on Registry on the menu bar.
    Click on Export Registry File.
In the line titled File Name type "backup"
In the line titled Save In be sure that the desktop is selected (if it is not, click on the arrow next to the Save In line and select 'desktop.')
Select All in the Export range box by clicking on the corresponding radio button.
    Click on the Save button.
Close the Registry Editor by clicking the X in the top right corner.
You now have a backup of your Registry saved as "backup" on your desktop. If an error occurs and you need to restore the registry you can double click on the new file titled "backup" located on the desktop and the registry will be restored.

NOTE: When you are completely finished with this document restart your computer by clicking Start, Shutdown, Restart, then OK. Once the computer has restarted verify that your computer is working properly by opening various programs and doing familiar functions. When you can tell that all is running properly delete the backup registry file you created earlier to avoid the mistake of replacing the newly edited registry with the corrupt registry. To delete the backup registry file right click on the file "Backup" on your desktop and click on Delete. Be careful not to double click this file since that would add back in the registry entries you just removed. If you accidentally double click the file, you will need to follow the instructions on editing the registry again.

    Edit the Registry

    Click on START
    Click on RUN.
At the Open: type REGEDIT.COM .
    Click on OK
You should now see the Registry Editor. Double click on the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT folder.
Using the scroll bar to the right of the first column, scroll down to the longer folder names till you reach a folder named comfile.
Double click on the comfile folder.
Double click on the shell folder.
Double click on the open folder
Single click on the command folder.
To the right you will see a key ab (Default) with a path (example: C:pROGRAM FILESMCAFEEWEBSCAN or something similar). Highlight the Default by clicking on it once with the mouse arrow.
    Press the delete key.
You will be asked to confirm the delete, click yes. After deleting you should see in the quotes "Value not set ".
Now in the same window under the default check to see if you have a "webscan installed key with a 000000x hexadecimal number. If you see this blue key, repeat the steps to delete (highlight the key, press delete). If you did not see this key, then omit this step.
Repeat the exact same steps listed above for the following folders: exefile, binfile (if found) Word.Document.6 and WinZip.
Scroll now towards the top and double click on the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT folder to close it.
Locate and double click on the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE folder.
Double click on the Software folder.
Double click on the Microsoft folder.
Double click on the Windows folder.
Double click on the CurrentVersion folder.
Double click on the Uninstall folder.
Single click on the McAfee VirusScan folder.
Press Delete and Yes to confirm.
Locate and single click on the VirusScan folder.
Press Delete and Yes to confirm.
Locate and single click on the WebScan folder.
Press Delete and Yes to confirm.
After removing the above keys, scroll all the way back up to the top of the Registry Editor and on the left hand side, click on My Computer.
On the menu bar at the top, click on Edit.
    Click on Find.
On the 'Find What' line, type: webscan and click the Find Next button.
If any webscan item is found, press delete to remove it.
Press F3 to continue the search. Delete each occurrence of webscan and keep searching until you receive the message "Finished searching through the registry." Exit the registry, shut down and restart the computer.
NOTE: Do not delete any default key that do not have the path or one similar to C:pROGRAM FILESMCAFEEWEBSCAN.

After you complete editing the registry, you may then proceed in deleting the Webscan directory. For typical installation this can be found in C:pROGRAM FILESMCAFEEWEBSCAN. Only delete the Webscan folder itself.

Double click on My Computer, then on the C: Drive, then on the PROGRAM FILES folder.
Within the PROGRAM FILES folder double click on the MCAFEE folder, then single click on the WEBSCAN folder.
Press Delete and Yes to confirm.
You will also have Webscan icons on your desktop Start Menu Programs. Click on Start, SETTINGS, TASKBAR.
Click on the Start Menu Programs Tab, then click Remove.
Locate and double click on the McAfee Folder.
Single click on the McAfee Webscan folder then click on the remove button.
Removal of McAfee Webscan is now complete.
