I have the problem where icons appear and dissapear at their free will from the bottom right hand corner of the toolbar (E.g. Creative Volume control, Logitech Desktop etc...). I have seen this problem before but forgot which program they used to restore them.

    Could anyone help?

    Thanks,

    Alex

Do you perhaps mean the bottom right hand corner of the Taskbar (next to the clock)?
If so, you should see an arrow pointing left. Click on it. Do these items show up now?
If you right click on a blank spot on the Taskbar|Properties|Customize you can set when you want an icon (which represents a program) to show. "Always Hide" means it will not show unless the program is in use. You click on the Behavior column to change the setting. "Hide when inactive" means the icon will appear on boot and stay around for awhile, but, if the program is not used, it will hide (under that arrow). That sounds like what you described.
