Is My Pc In Safe Mode?.

    Hello, Iwas wandering if any one could tell me how i find out if my pc is running in safe mode, also if it is how do i change that to run in normal mode if there is a normal mode. please help.:(

    Your computer SHOULD boot into normal mode, but to make sure that you have it in normal mode, as your computer is starting up it should show that there is an F key to go to a "boot menu ". If you get to that menu you should be able to key up or down and select normal mode, if it's still booting into safe mode then it sounds like you might have a virus..or your hard drive is corrupted.

    If you are running in Safe Mode you will see Safe Mode in each corner of the screen which will be running at a low resolution. Windows starts in Normal mode by default - to start in Safe Mode see below ....

    If your running a packard bell don't use F8, use F5 because F8 is for the boot system or something. Something to do with the bios, so unless you know what to do with bios things dont press F8.
