Profile synching problem in SBS2003

Hi

I have a user (Win XP Pro SP2) who after tidying their desktop of files & folders (deleting many) shut down for the weekend, thinking all changes would have been written to their profile on the SBS server 2003.

When they logged on monday the files they had moved to the new folder on the desktop where back on the desktop (not in the folder) and the files they had deleted where also back on the desktop.

What is going wrong with the synching of their profile?

The shutdown was successful and online?
Just do yourself a test and delete one file from the desktop, then log off and logon again. You can check the event viewer for error messages and see what is going on!
