Lost Inbox contents?

Hi. I have just found that the contents of my Inbox have vanished, I used it in the morning OK and when I went in last night my Inbox was empty( it had about 50 odd items) all the others ( sent & deleted) still have their contents.
I went into C:/ Documents & Settings / Des / Local Settings / Application Data / Identities /Microsoft / Outlook Express. and found 2 inbox folders, one small and one with 35.6 meg in it but I can't open them I tried a couple but still no go.
Does anyone know what will open dbx. files.
Any thoughts and info will be greatly appreciated

Otherwise, one of your OE files may be corrupt.
